Civic Reception for Coagh United Football Club

On Thursday 25th October Cookstown District Council travelled to Coagh United Football Club to paid tribute to their successful 2011/12 football season.

The Civic Reception was held in honour of the team winning the Championship 2 League and gaining promotion to currently play in Championship 1 League Football.

The event was attended by club players, management team and club officials as well as the Chairman of Cookstown District Council, Councillor Tony Quinn and other local representatives. Also in attendance was Chief Executive (Acting) of Cookstown District Council Mr Adrian McCreesh.

Chairman Councillor Tony Quinn in recognition of the Clubs achievement presented player Marcus Dallas with an inscribed crystal trophy.
