Coagh kids fail to score

Moyola Park U16 2

Coagh Youth 0

Coagh Youth travelled to Moyola in an end-to-end cup tie, but it was Moyola who dominated the score line and two great strikes from the home side, early in the first half, was enough to see them though.

This was only the second time this year were Coagh failed to find the net and they had some great chances to level the game with some great patterns of play throughout.

The pace of the match caused Coagh some problems early on but the village side soon got into the rhythm of play and deal with the home sides quick advances. Saturday score like did not do the game justice, Coagh played football and tried not to use the long ball.

This was a great effort form the young lads, they worked very hard but just could not get the final touch.

Coagh Youth travel to local side Draperstown next. This is a critical league game for the home side but there will be no favours.

The youngsters will travel looking to get back on track themselves after two defeats in a row.

Make your Saturday morning a Coagh one, get out of bed and go and support your local youth side.
