Coagh United update

THE Coagh Fives had another successful week of football at Coagh Sports Centre. The Primary Schools kicked off on Monday night. The stars of tomorrow excelled with excellent football throughout. Desertmartin finally came up trumps but were pushed all the way by runners up; Cookstown Cosmos.

Tuesday saw Under 14’s Reds take the honours in the final against Hexies Heroes. Under 16s was won by Scouting for Goals in a very competitive section.

Wednesdays Open had the biggest entry of the week, in a very tight group which saw a host of Irish League and English players take an early season warm up. Marcos Five won the very tight section with Abandon Ship the runners up.

Coagh United would like to thank all the Teams, Referee, and runners with a big thank you to Carla and her administrators for keeping things moving.

Coagh also thank the following sponsors, John O’Brien, Coagh Pharmacy, John McGaw of McGaw’s garage Coagh and Cookstown District Council Councillor Ian McCrea for making Coagh Fives another success. Coagh look forward to welcoming everyone back next season.
