Football: Coagh frustrated by inactivity

Coagh United will have to go another week without football. Last week Coagh had a free week due to Chimney Corner pulling out of the league.

This Saturday, Coagh were down to play Armagh City away in the Bob Radcliffe Cup, but Armagh have three players away on Regions Cup duty and excised their right to call the game off.

This game will possibly now be put back a mid-week date in October. On Saturday past Coagh used the break with a workout against Colerine Reserves.

The visitors took the lead early in the first half but Coagh levelled through Andrew Kelso just before the break.

In the second half the visitors scored two more goals to take the match 3-1.

Coagh next League match is away to Portstewart on the 4th October before the visit of the League leaders Moyola to Hagan Park on the 11th October.
