Killymoon Rangers FC celebrated their annual dinner dance and awards night on Friday 16th May, the evening proceedings started with Vice-Chairman Steven McElhatton welcoming everyone to the Royal Hotel.
A special welcome was extended to guests Andrew Johnston, Chairman of the NIFL, and Stuart Dallas of Brentford FC.
Stuart talked about a season in which the club struggled in the league but also about the passion within the club and desire for all members to see the club move forward as a whole,
He welcomed George Dardis to the floor to start the presentations of the awards for both the first and the reserve teams.
First Team Awards:
Manager’s player of the year - Jonny Young
Players’ player of the year - Jason Ferry
Top Goal Scorer - Richard Donaghy
Young player of the year - Matthew Rainey
Best Newcomer award - James Leslie
Reserve Awards went to:
Manager’s player of the year - Gareth Ramsay
Players player of the year - Gareth Ramsey
Top goal scorer - James Simon Dunn.
There was a light hearted moment as miss of the season went to Richard Donaghy (who also won it the season before).
George finished of by thanking everyone for their continuous support and hoped it will continue and then passed the floor back to Steven McElhatton who presented the club awards.

Before the awards came to an end the secretary Gareth Moran said a few words about the departing Steven McElhatton.
Steven, who has given 10 years service to Killymoon Rangers following his arrival in 2004. Steven has been captain, player manager and vice-chairman and has also been a vital part in fundraising for the club.
He will be sadly missed as he leaves Killymoon Rangers to raise his four boys with his wife Lisa.
The Killymoon club look forward to the days when the McElhatton boys put on the Killymoon Jersey. Everyone at the club wishes Steven, Lisa and the boys all the best in the future.
