With both teams trying to find their feet on the new pitch it wasn’t long before some sloppy defending let the Antrim Rovers striker through, who put his effort into the far corner giving the keeper no chance.

Antrim Rovers proceeded to dominate possession and extended their lead to 2-0 with a well worked corner seeing them power a header into the RBL goal just before half time.

With RBL beginning to get a foothold on the game, fashioning a number of decent chances, it was a quick break by the Antrim Rovers side that got the all important third goal.

Continuing to battle RBL were trying to retrieve something from the game only to concede another poorly defended goal from a corner giving Antrim Rovers an unassailable lead and all three points.
