Midnight Soccer kicks off at Sports Arena

COOKSTOWN and District Sports Forum have secured funding from Cookstown Community Safety Partnership to deliver a 6 week community soccer programme.

The highly successful programme which will commence on Friday 23rd September to 28th October from 9.00-11.00pm at the Mid Ulster Sports Arena is open to both boys and girls from 14-18 years of age. Teams should consist of 7 players with an adult required to supervise each team.

The programme will use football as a diversionary activity, giving young people an opportunity to participate in a structured programme in a safe environment with official referees used for matches. The emphasis will be on fun and participation.
