Castledawson's New Row PS camogs are Ulster champions

Following success at county level, New Row Primary School camogs are now Ulster champions.

The finals were a tense and exciting occasion and the south Derry girls played excellent camogie against challenging teams from Armagh, Donegal and Fermanagh before defeating Tyrone in the semi.

They then met Our Lady’s and St Mochua’s PS Derrynoose (Armagh) again in the final.

Hearts raced as the girls went 1, then 2 up.

A third goal sealed their fate and there was much celebration when the final whistle blew. Spectators joined the girls as they were presented with their Ulster Medals.
