With Derry minor footballers turning in an impressive performance at Celtic Park on Sunday, the county’s efforts in the area of player development have been further boosted with the announcement that Derry Credit Union are backing Club Derry’s player development draw for 2016.
The draw, which will run until August 31st, features top prize of an all-expenses-paid All-Ireland final weekend, and tickets for which can be purchased online here.
Welcoming the news, Club Derry chairman, John Keenan commented:
“We’re delighted to welcome Derry Credit Union on board as official partners of our player development draw. Derry GAA and Derry Credit Union share community-based values, with both organisations working extremely hard on the ground to support the development of local communities in Derry and the health and well-being of their people. I want to thank everyone involved at Derry CU for their support which is much appreciated.
“We must never lose sight of development efforts for the future, and with the support of organisations like Derry Credit Union, we can help to ensure no stone is left unturned in efforts to help young players achieve their potential for their club and county.”
