The 2014 championship draw pits Clonoe against Errigal Ciaran

The draw for the first round of the Tyrone Senior Football championship has been made pitting last year’s winners Clonoe against the 2012 winners Errigal Ciaran.

The first round has thrown up some brilliant ties with the clashes of Ardboe and Cookstown and Omagh and Coalisland also one to whet the appetite.

There’s a difficult first round clash for newcomers Eskra who will play their first Senior championship tie against the county’s most successful club and last year’s beaten finalists, Carrickmore.

There’s also an intriguing east Tyrone tie between neighbour Eglish and Donaghmore, while Moy will tackle Moortown.

The Intermediate draw is headlined by the meeting of Galbally and Dungannon, while neighbours Derrylaughan and Moortown are set to lock horns.

The Junior draw has seen 2012 All Ireland Junior finalists, Derrytresk draw Tattyreagh in their opening game while Brocagh will be ready for their tussle with Clann na nGael who have dropped to Junior this season.
