GAA: Derry draw Longford in qualifiers

National League finalists Derry will meet Longford in the first round of this year’s All Ireland Qualifiers the tie set for Celtic Park.

Derry lost out in the first round of the Ulster championship to Donegal last month but they will be hopeful of progression through the ‘back door.’

The game with Longford is expected to take place on Saturday 21st June. Longford lost out narrowly to Wexford in their Leinster quarter-final encounter.

Should Tyrone lose out Monaghan this weekend then they will encounter Louth on Saturday 28th June.
