Both Tyrone sides celebrate their centenaries this year and victory on the provincial stage would be the icing on what has already been a fantastic year for both clubs.

Pomeroy will bid to get their hands on the Ulster Intermediate championship title for the second time in their history when they take on Monaghan champions Donaghmoyne at Pairc Esler in Newry on Sunday afternoon.

Twelve years ago they went all the way to Provincial glory and there are still a few players from that side who will be in action on Sunday.

The Plunketts have a good mixture of youth and experience and they were taken to the pin of their collars last day out against Castledawson when trailing by six points approaching half time.

Rock will hope to get the afternoon off to the perfect start for Tyrone sides when they take on Monaghan side Blackhill in the Ulster Junior championship final at Newry.

Its familiar territory for the St.Patricks having gone all the way to Provincial glory at this level just two years ago and they will be aiming for their own piece of history on Sunday afternoon as they bid to become the first Tyrone side to win three Ulster titles.

They have accounted for Conn Magees, Cornafean and Newtownbutler to get to the decider and manager Adrian Nugent hopes that there is one more big game in his charges.
