The U13 boys completed their league campaign with a 6-7 to 2-5 win over Loughmacrory. The win ensured they qualified for the league semi final. Details of the U13 semi final will be posted on the Facebook page when available.

U6, 8 and 10 football training has finished for the year. Our thanks to all the helpers of the U6 and U8 age group, especially Eileen Leydon, Donna Hagan, Julie Lagan, Conleith Donnelly, Des Treacy and Gerard McAleer. Without all the help we would not have been able to cater for the high number of young children at football training.

In a week where the minors completed the league and championship double and the U16s reached the championship final, the Senior team had the opportunity to complete a treble of superb results in the Championship Semi-Final against Loughmacrory. A great following of Kildress supporters travelled to Killyclogher to watch the Tones overcome the opposition to win 0-9 to 0-7. Kildress face Galbally in the Intermediate Final at Healy Park on Sunday 16th October. Time to be confirmed. 40 years since the 1971 victory, the team of 2011 have a great chance of bringing home the silverware so come out and support the boys.
