U8 and U10 camogie blitz

Rossa’s U8 and U10 camogs were in fine form on Sunday morning over at Swatragh’s annual blitz, involving over 40 teams. Our 3 teams excelled in all their group games, with the U8s and U10 team 1 narrowly missing out on qualifying for the semi-finals. All the girls have shown such improvement this season. Keep up the good work, girls!

U8 camogs: Megan Doyle, Erin Hughes, Olivia Lupari, Freya O’Neill, Elsa O’Neill, Amy Clarke, Aimee Cahoon, Sophie Cahoon, Rocha Kerr, Connie O’Neill.

U10 camogs Team 1: Emma Dace, Tara Murphy, Chloe Toner, Ellen O’Neill, Shannon Cassidy, Mollie O’Neill, Maeve Shields, Moira O’Kane.

U10 camogs Team 2: Dearbhla Walls, Hollie Mewha, Karolina Francuz, Megan Black, Aoibhinn Young, Tori Devlin, Isobel Collins, Katie Kerr.

A weakened U16 side lost to Greenlough in the U16 camogie league on Monday evening. However, the girls battled hard, with a number of the younger players showing up well, such as Ruth Dace and Gabriella Lupari who both made some fine clearances.
