Pomeroy Plunketts along with St Mary’s PS are running a charity clothes drive. So please bring all your unwanted clothing to the grounds at Plunkett Park on any of the following dates and times.

Saturday 24th September 10am – 1pm. Saturday 1st October 10am – 1pm. Saturday 8th October 10am – 1pm.

The Minor Boys are in the league final this Friday 24th October, in Galbally against Naomh Mhuire at 7.45pm. Come out and support the boys as this is sure to be an exciting game of football.

U8s/U10s Boys and Girls training still continues on Saturday mornings at 10:30 Plunkett Park . All parents are encouraged to bring their children along and if possible, get on board in helping out with the teaching of our games.

The annual Jackie Lambe tournament will take place on Saturday 1st October for U8’s. All help on the day will be appreciated.

The handball season starts on Saturday 1st October for U10 and U12 boys and girls, in the handball alley 3-4pm. As always help in needed with supervising all age groups. Please contact Bing Kennedy on 07956902968 or Lorraine Girvan on 07889205048 for more information.

There is a double header this Saturday 24th September in Plunkett Park, first game at 3.30pm. Loughmacrory V Eskra and Coalisland V Omagh. We will need people to steward, help with tea making and selling lotto if you are available to help out in any way please be at the Pavillion at 2.45pm.

The final night of Come Dine With Me will be taking place on Saturday 8 October. Anyone who would like to take part and run a night please contact Maeve or Edel and let them know that you wish to join the fun. Remember that this is a club fundraiser with all proceeds going to Pomeroy GAC.

The heart screening will be taking place on Saturday 29th October, in the Pavillion. For anyone aged between 14 and 40, this is £35 a head. If you would like more information or would like to book a place contact Maeve Nugent on 87758237 or 07775635391.

Anyone who has photos of recent club events, including the “Run for Michaela” or in particularly any pictures from the recent “Come Dine With Me” event that was hosted throughout various club members homes, please send them in.

We have just added a new album to our gallery on the website entitled “Plunkett’s On Tour”. We want photographs of any of our members who are travelling around the world or even locally, either on holiday or living farther afield. Take your picture at any famous landmarks and send it in. One rule though, you must have your Plunketts colours on.
