It wasn’t the highest quality game of football played in Tyrone this season but it was edge of the seat stuff throughout, with no side able to build up a match winning lead.

The St Patricks, forced to field without their suspended midfielder Martin McCreesh, will be able to call on him once more.

Niall Conway’s charges could certainly do with his presence given the degree to which Derrytresk dominated the midfield for much of the second half.

Both sides had chances to win the game towards the end, the Rock in particular will rue a free kick which struck Aidan Quinn’s right upright but the winner never materialise.

Late chances for both Aidan Girvan and Cathal O’Neill sailed wide as the sides must do battle once again for Tyrone Junior championship honours.
