Entering injury time Dromore trailed Clonoe by a point but the St Dympnas manufactured an opening with Ryan McMenamin pointing from 30 metres to bring the sides level.

Clonoe went on the attack from the kickout and looked the more likely team to win, but Dromore broke at pace and had a man over as Conor O’Neill picked out the veteran McCullagh.

With only a few seconds to collect, the former county star showed admirable composure to fist over the crossbar with Mickey O’Neill fast closing him down.

Almost every part of St Colmcilles Park in Carrickmore was full as the sides did battle for a place in the Tyrone Senior Football championship semi-final.

The O’Rahillys looked to be cruising to victory after 15 minutes of the contest as they enjoyed a comfortable lead but Dromore dug in and ground Damian Cassidy’s men down.
