Knockloughrim bowlers AGM

UNDER the chairmanship of Jack McKee, the annual general meeting of Termoneeny Bowling Club, was held in the Methodist Church Hall, Knockloughrim. The President, Canon Kenneth Kingston, commended members of the club for what was another very successful season.

He referred to the continued strong and committed sporting spirit in which all games were played. In continuing, Canon Kingston also congratulated the recent prize winners and thanked all who helped in the running and organisation of the club at its weekly meetings.

The Chairman, Mr McKee, noted the enthusiasm and enjoyment which was obvious amongst the members on club nights.

The results of the election were as follows ; President – Canon Kenneth Kingston ; Chairman / Captain – Jack McKee ; Playing Captain – Paul Leacock ; Vice Captain – Ivor Morrow ; Treasurer – Ivor Morrow ; Secretary – Dorothy Leacock; Committee – Canon Kenneth Kingston, Jack McKee, Ivor Morrow, Dorothy Leacock, Wilma McNickle, Bailey Stewart, Keith Watterson, and Yvonne Watters.

It was announced that the annual outing will take place on Saturday July 31 when the itinerary will include the Antrim Coast Road. Also, the new season will commence on Wednesday September 1.
