On Friday all roads led to the Greenvale Hotel for the Acorns Cross Country League presentation dinner.
Due to the successes in the 2014/15 season with 3rd place overall in the XC League, the Acorns ladies were each presented with a commemorative medal to reward the effort and achievements.
Following the meal, Club Chairman Francis Purvis made a short speech to commend the commitment of everyone involved in the league campaign, which meant various members of the team adjusting their work schedules, plus accommodating training on a Sunday morning at MUSA during the winter months.
The overall success the club has had in Cross Country in its first year has been exceptional, with both male and female teams, as well as running its own XC race in January.
Thanks to the management and staff at the Greenvale Hotel for the excellent meal and service on the night.
