THE 21st annual East Tyrone Sperrin Challenge was the biggest to date with a record number of cyclists taking part in one of the sports toughest leisure touring events.
Warm sunshine greeted the riders at the Moneymore Recreation Centre Event Head Quarters for the three approximate distances of 75miles, 55miles or 35miles.
The Sperrins provide testing cycling terrin and the hardest climbs this year were at Dorraville, Gortin Lakes, Magherbrack and the long drag out of Draperstown to Straw Mountain.
The nominated charities are The Cystic Fibrosis Trust, St John Ambulance and The Northern Ireland Childrens Hospice.
