Gerald Dallas from Ballycastle out threw Cookstown own and previous treble winner Rodney Greer to claim the top prize in the Leslie Dallas Memorial held in Coagh United Club rooms on Saturday.
A massive eighty throwers stepped up to the oaky in an effort to win the Dallas Cup in the largest individual competitions in the darting calendar.
Greer held his nerve against Sam Mein, Dungannon to reach the final while Dallas saw off local man Glenn Booth.
The unlucky quarter-finalists were Richard Love, Magherafelt and Coalisland’s Cathal Scullion.
After winning the memorial for the first time, Dallas said he was very impressed with the quality of the darts and the organisation.
The Dallas family and Coagh United FC thank everyone who supported the event, which attracted major throwers and international players and we look forward to seeing them back next season.
