RAINEY Endowed pupil Michael Dawson has just returned from a busy time spent with the Ulster Under 19 squad. Throughout the summer Dawson has been training with the Ulster squad and he enjoyed a brief tour of North England with the panel. During the tour, the talented backrow forward featured in games against Lancashire Schools and Yorkshire Schools.
On his return from the short trip, Dawson played a key role in games against Munster and the Irish Exiles.
In the Exiles game, Dawson was joined by Rainey OB prop forward Stephen Best, who was an integral part in the front row of the Ulster Under 19 side.
Principal of Rainey Endowed, Mr R Robinson was quick to praise Michael for this tremendous achievement and stated that everyone in the school is extremely proud of him.
