THE Magherafelt Titans have entered five junior teams into the league, they are U14 boys and girls; U16 boys and U18 boys and girls. However, the club are struggling with the number of coaches and assistants available to accompany the teams to games. So if there are any parents or ex-players who could help with the junior teams, your help would be very much appreciated.
Titans are trying to develop female participation in the club and have gone for an U14 and an U18 girls squads. The U18 squad are made up from last season’s U16 players moving up an age group and a few girls returning from last season’s squad, but the U14 group are struggling for numbers. Titans have 7 players for this age group but with squad numbers of 10 it would be ideal to have another 4 or 5 U14 girls in the squad. So if there are any girls (not 14 years old until January 1st 2012) we would be glad to have you come along to try-out for the team.
Senior men players are asked for a much better attendance at training. The numbers at training do not currently reflect that the Titans are hoping to field two teams in the leagues and with the leagues about to start, in a few weeks, there is a lot of preparation to be done.
