Rainey Endowed School attempt to advance to the last eight of the Schools’ Cup on Saturday morning when they meet Down High.

Their star performer on the day was back row forward, Eunan Shaw who not only ran in two tries during the game but also got through a load of work, in both attack and defence.

Rainey will need to step up another gear when they entertain a very well organised Down High School in the third round.

The Down pack laid the foundations for their round two victory over Lurgan College team.

Down are well drilled and will have taken a lot of confidence from producing a mature performance in terrible weather conditions.

Back row forward Thomas Donnan really caught the eye and the Rainey Endowed pack will have to front up. This game is scheduled to kick off at 10.45am.
