The Beginners to Winners training programme has been running very successfully for a few months now. The strategy behind it is for the club to be able to facilitate potential new members, through an introduction to running and a subsequent training programme, in a “No Pressure” environment.

The response to the programme has been excellent with training has been facilitated by Francis Purvis and Trevor Dallas.

The club organised a 5k trial for those runners involved and the response was tremendous, with approx. 40 participants taking part at the Meadowbank Sports Arena.

Due to the growing popularity of the “Beginners To Winners” programme and the growing numbers, the programme will continue each week during the Autumn / Winter period.

Please feel to come along to view the training on a Monday or Wednesday, where one of our coaches or members will be glad to have a chat with you on the night.
