CARN Wheelers host 2012 XC NPS Rd.6 and Ulster XC Rd.3 in Davagh Forest on Sunday.

In 2011 a lot of work went into making a better course in Davagh and with more singletrack than before, it became one of the best courses on the XC calendar so for 2012 we decided to improve on our course with some more technical features whilst retaining the fast flowing singletrack that Davagh is well known for.

The club needs marshals to help run a safe race in Davagh on Sunday. Anyone who can give up a few hours on the Sunday (to be there from about 10:30 to late afternoon) should contact Padraig Dougan (07788 563759) to confirm their attendance. Your help is greatly appreciated!

We welcome all our visitors to the event and wish them a safe and enjoyable day. More details are available on at http://www.carnwheelers.co.uk/ We wish to thank all our members for their preparation of the event and for getting the course ready for the big day.

Lisnamuck RR

Thanks to all the riders, and marshal on what turned out to be a very nasty evening with driving rain starting almost as the race started. With the torrential rain at the finish, there was no-one hanging around to confirm their places with the race photographer. Any queries, please email pr@carnwheelers.co.uk and we will update the results. The top three have also to collect their prize envelope - hopefully the weather will be better for the next race!

Best wishes also to the rider who had an accident in the closing metres of the race.
