90 years of Motorcycle Club

COOKSTOWN Motorcycle Club was formed on 11th February 1922. To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the club a special club meeting is being held on Saturday 11th February at 8.00pm in the Royal Hotel, Cookstown.

There will be a chat show, riders include Len Ireland, Ray McCullough, Brian Reid, Leslie McMaster, Billy McCosh, Dick Creith, Davy Morgan and Ryan Farquhar. It will be lovely to have a chat with them and discuss their time on the racing scene and how things have changed over the years.

There will be memorabilia and old photographs on display and a bike from the olden days and one from now. You will have a chance to view these and reminisce about years gone by. On the night, you will also have a chance to enter a raffle for prizes which include grandstand seats, programme, a special crystal plate and other items.

There will also be refreshments and time to chat with old friends about memories over the years and the excitement that road racing brings to us all. We look forward to seeing all past and present members in attendance. All new members will be made very welcome.
