Cookstown Hockey Club are delighted to announce that its new major shirt sponsors are AH Fuel Oils Ltd & Solo Petroleum.

Customer care has proved the key to success for AH Fuel Oils Ltd since it was established over 20 years ago. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength and now boasts a fleet of tankers in depots at Cookstown, Dungannon, Portstewart and Belfast, which deliver to domestic, agricultural and petrol retail outlets across the province.

The company focuses on offering a complete and full customer care. ‘We try to guarantee same day delivery if it’s necessary and always try to meet our customer requests’ This fits well with the company’s strapline on its website which states : Everyday, Everywhere, Everytime.

Solo Petroleum, a new independent forecourt brand was launched into the Northern Ireland market in May 2009. The company has invested heavily in building a brand that has a reputation for the highest standards on both product quality and supply. Locally the company has a couple of outlets at the A29 Service Station on the Dungannon Road and the Millburn Service Station.

A spokesman for the hockey club stated that the club are delighted to be associated with a couple of instantly recognisable and local companies.

“We are indebted to the companies and in particular Mr Andrew Hutchinson. Our club needs that financial help that only a major shirt sponsor can provide. This new found security and well-being will allow us as a club to push on and compete for honours both at senior and junior level.

“AH Fuel Oils Ltd state on their web that they don’t use words like ‘no’ and ‘can’t’ - - this is a strapline that our whole club, both on and off the pitch, can now adopt as we strive to continue to have Cookstown teams at the forefront of domestic and national hockey.”

Andrew Hutchinson stated that hockey in Cookstown is a major sport – up there with soccer and gaelic football. “Cookstown Hockey Club, especially at senior level, have probably been the most successful club in Northern Ireland, regularly winning trophies.

“I want to see this success continue in what I consider to be a family orientated club which has an excellent image in the local community, plus excellent facilities both on and off the pitch.”
