Lough Neagh Rally

THE White River Hotel sponsored Lough Neagh Rally has assembled a bumper entry and it is sure to be an exciting day of racing in Moneyglass at the weekend.

An entry list of twenty five plus cars will take to the ten demanding concrete lane stages inside the Higgins Estate.

Competitors such as Derek McGeehan in his WRC mini, George Robinson in his Evo 9, Sean Cassidy in the Rapid Fiesta, Raymond Doyle in the giant killing G3 Escort and Conor McMeel who is only back from competing in a rally in Barbados.

The event kicks off on Sunday morning with the first car off the line at 10am and running through until around 5pm. The Moneyglass demesne is just 1 mile from the Brecart roundabout (beside the new bridge) on the main B18 Toomebridge to Ballymena road and will be sign posted off the main road.

This rally is very spectator and family friendly with spectator car parking conveniently in the grounds of the estate beside the service park, toilets and outside catering along with Airplay Inflatable’s providing kids entertainment with bouncy castles etc.

After the final stage the prize ceremony will be held at the White River Hotel where meals will be available from the very reasonable price of £7.95 for the main and £3.95 for dessert, everyone is welcome to attend and booking is recommended contact stay@whiteriverhotel.com or phone- 028 7965 0800
