Seven Springhill boxers entered last weekend’s Derry Champuionships, which were run over three nights - Sunday and Monday, and Tuesday which was finals night.

The Moneymore contestants had some hard fights and battles were the order of the day, their endeavour rewarded with six winners - a terrific result.

Next up for the club is the North West Championships on Saturday February 23, with Kevin Corcoran, Odie Devlin and Shaun McNamee all relishing the prospect of a chance to shine.

If they win here, they will go to the Ulster Finals next month and all at the club wish them the best of luck.
