Rainey Old Boys III 67 Coleraine III 7

Second placed Rainey OB III ran in eleven tries to beat bottom club Coleraine by 67-7 at Hatrick Park.

Even without a few regulars, Rainey were always in control and had the points in the bag by half-time when they led 24-7.

Eight of their tries came from the backs; full-back P. O’Neill got three, while centre C. Moran, out-half K. Irvine, and wing D. Johnston each claimed two.

Hooker S. Beattie also picked up a brace with second-row C. O’Kane claiming the other. Moran added six conversions.
