COOKSTOWN District Council have launched a new exciting range of summer programmes for 2012.

A new addition to the line-up is an Outdoor Pursuits Activity Programme for 14-18 year olds that involves fun activities at the nearby Jungle N.I centre. Activities on offer include Forest Segway, Treetop Course, Archery and Zorbing with places sure to book up fast for this one! This programme is subsidised by Cookstown Policing and Community Safety Partnership.

Community Sports Coordinator Martin Conlan stated “The programme provides an excellent variety of activities for children and youths to make friends and have fun while keeping active over the summer months and also provides great value for participants.

All activities will be led by fully qualified staff that will ensure the young people encounter a fun and enjoyable experience in a safe and structured environment.

Numbers are limited for each programme and age restrictions apply. Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis and therefore participants are advised to book now by contacting the Mid Ulster Sports Arena on 028 8676 7135 for an application form.
