THE Sports Development team based at the Mid Ulster Sports Arena have been busy planning a full and comprehensive sports programme for all abilities over the Easter break.
A wide range of activities and sports are on offer at great value with the maximum charge for a 3 day camp organised by CDC being only £7.50. Sports Development Officer Eunan Murray commented, “This year’s programme offers more sports than ever before and the price reflects the current economic situation we face. The Sports Development Unit wants to give as many children and older people the opportunity to take part and do not want cost to be a barrier, this is a structured coaching programme led by fully qualified & experienced coaches which offers something for everyone.”
The sports available range from 1 day programmes in Netball (P6/7), Girls only Soccer, Disability Inclusive Games to 2/3 day camps in Netball (Yr8-Yr10), Gaelic Football, Tennis and an IFA Easter Soccer School.
The Sports Development Unit are also offering free entry for 10 participants to a camp (*IFA not included) of their choice by answering the following question correctly;
How many different sports are on offer in the Easter Programme? Answers with your name & address/contact details should be sent to Martin Conlan at MUSA, Tullywiggan, Cookstown, BT80 8SG or via email firstname.lastname@example.org. A draw from the correct entries will be made on Monday 26th March at 3.00pm.
