A PENALTY shoot out ended in disappointment for Moyola Park in today’s Craig Memorial Cup final at Tobermore.

The South Derry side had been hoping to lift the North West trophy for a seventh time, but Johnny Law’s Coleraine Reserves just managed to get the better of them in the shoot out.

It was unluck for the Moyola side who started the game well putting in some excellent attacks.

Their sustained pressure eventually paid off just before half time when Kenning scored a super strike from 20 yards.

But the Bannsiders came out fighting and Moore got the equaliser in the 70th minute to take the match into added time.

In the penalty shoot out Law’s young side held their nerve to win 3-1 and lift the cup.
