Video: Tyrone minor star previews All-Ireland final

Have your say

Philip Donnelly got his first start in championship in the semi-final win over useful Roscommon and that was an amazing turn-round in the fortunes of the modest young Donaghmore lad.

Back in April we chronicled a litany of injuries he has suffered - a wrecked ankle in the league against Donegal which caused him to miss the championship last year, surgery to remove a nodal mass in stomach in January, his appendix also removed. And, after playing in the Ulster Minor League, he shattered ligaments in his left foot and ankle in a club league match - on his 18th birthday.
