Video: Magherafelt gets ready for Fr Ted

Waiting for Video...

Fr Ted and the Ghost of Ballyheifer will take to the stage in Magherafelt Parish Centre on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of February.

Expect the unexpected as some very well known local faces in Magherafelt take on the roles of Dougal, Fr Ted, Mrs Doyle and a few other characters.

The show has been written and directed by Brian Morgan who is delighted with the way rehearsals are going saying “all the actors are local parishioners and for several of them this will be their first time on stage. Their commitment and enthusiasm is brilliant with everyone giving 100 percent”.

Mona McGlade, manager of the centre is looking forward to the busy weekend in February adding: “I have attended a few of the rehearsals and audiences are certainly going to be entertained. It is an excellent show with many twists and turns.

“We are delighted to be staging such as event and I know it’s going to be every bit as successful as the pantomimes that have been held here”.

Tickets are on sales now from Magherafelt Parish Centre, Kerr’s Shop, Top 40 and cast members. All tickets are £10 with shows at 8.00pm. Watch our video online at www.midulstermail.co.uk.
