Awards success for Banbridge and Scarva
Speaking at the results ceremony which celebrates the finest horticultural talent in Northern Ireland, John Trethowan, Chairman of Translink, declared: “We would like to thank and congratulate all our 2013 Translink Ulster in Bloom participants for their hard work and dedication. We would also encourage more people to get out and about by bus or train to explore some of these beautiful places,”
DUP MP David Simpson, and MLAs Stephen Moutray and Sydney Anderson have congratulated both Banbruidge and Scarva on the win.

Hide AdIn a joint statement they said, “We were delighted to hear the news of Banbridge having come first in the Town category of this year’s Ulster in Bloom competition, and Scarva Village on their win of 1st place in the Small Village category.”
