100 Londonderry women find out more about services in the local area

A host of various organisations were represented at the Foyle Women’s Information Network (FWIN) organised event in the Holywell Trust Building on Bishop Street.
These included local women’s groups from across the city.
There were also representatives from Women’s Aid, Nexus, the Women’s Regional Consortium, the Infertility Network and the Prince’s Trust to name but a few.

Hide AdCo-ordinator of FWIN, Catherine Cooke, said: “The day was a great success and there was a huge turn out.
“This is an event that is very beneficial to women as they can network and also get advice and information on everything from breast cancer screening to accessing IT training and everything in between.
“This annual event is always extremely popular and I’m delighted to say that this year was no exception.”
This event was funded by the Big Lottery Fund.
Established in 1994, FWIN is an information network for community based women’s centres, group’s, individuals and organisations.
