East Antrim Alliance MLA Stewart Dickson said it was a “disgraceful hate crime, which has no doubt been committed by an individual who has no understanding of how the few houses, that are available through NI Housing Executive and housing associations, are allocated on the basis of need, and do indeed go to local people”.
A Mid and East Antrim Council confirmed it was aware of the incident and appealed to anybody with information to contact the PSNI.
