Post Mortem results in ‘suspicious’ death of young woman ‘prove inconclusive’ say PSNI

The body of Kerrie King (32), a young mother who was orginally from Scotland, was found at house In Carrickdale Gardens on the Tandragee Road.
A 50-year-old man had been in custody since the discovery of Ms King’s body on Tuesday but has since been released.

Hide AdA spokesperson for the PSNI said: “A post mortem examination has been conducted in relation to the death of 32-year-old woman in the Carrickdale Gardens area of Portadown on Tuesday February 9.”
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Gibson, from the Major Investigation Team said: “The results of the post mortem have proven inconclusive and our enquiries into the death of this young woman are ongoing.
“A 50-year-old man arrested in connection with the investigation has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.”
Forensic teams worked through until Friday at the scene of what police had described as a ‘suspicious’ death.

Hide AdA police spokesperson said last week that they believe Ms King was in the company of a male in the Carrickdale Gardens area at around 5pm on Monday evening.
DI Gibson said: “We believe that the deceased was in the area of Carrickdale Gardens in the company of a male at around 5pm on Monday 8 February.
“We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area from this time until the early hours of Tuesday morning or who has any other information.”
Flowers have been left at the scene and a number of local politicians, including DUP MLA Jonathan Buckley, MP Carla Lockhart, SDLP MLA Dolores Kelly and Cllr Eamon McNeill.
