Small bag of cannabis found on car seat
Thomas Joseph Barry, whose address was given as Clonmeen, Craigavon, was fined £100 last Wednesday at the local court for unlawful possession of cannabis.
He was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard that on September 19 last year at 2.35am police saw a trailer with a faulty taillight on the Ballylough Road, Banbridge.

A small bag of cannabis was located on the front passenger seat and Barry said he had bought it from a friend for £10.
There was about a gram of the drug, the court was told.
A barrister representing the defendant said her client had a relevant record but most of his drugs offences were of some vintage.
District Judge Amanda Brady told Barry if he was in court again for drugs convictions he would be looking at more serious penalties.
