‘Dream Girls’ theme at church conference
Taking place over the weekend of May 30-31, the theme for this year’s conference is Dream Girls.
Speakers at the two-day event will include church members Kate McCrory and Gwen Smyth.

Hide AdThere will also be a collection in aid of Invisible Traffick, a County Down-based charity which aims to raise awareness about the existence of human trafficking by speaking to local communities about the horrors taking place on their own doorsteps.
Last year, 250 local women and girls attended the weekend conference, which had a ‘Bond Girls are Forever’ theme.
The 2013 conference was the first the church held in its new building on Woodburn Road after its move from the Knockagh Road.
Some 180 tickets have already been sold for this year’s event, according to the church’s Facebook page.

Hide AdTickets are priced at £13 for Saturday only admission, £8 for Friday only admission and £20 for full weekend admission.
They are available to buy on the church website at www.teamjvc.org. Minimum age is 13.

Hide AdIt will be the fourth distribution centre for Northern Ireland, with foodbanks already operating in Dundonald, Coleraine and Larne.
The church is welcoming volunteers from all backgrounds to help with sorting and packing food items at their Woodburn Road warehouse.
