Exclusive: Shooting victim Maud Kells bravely returning to DR Congo on Sunday
Maud begins her journey to Mulita, where she was attacked in January, on Sunday.
But the brave woman of God said she is not worried about her return as she has been offered extra security and will be accompanied on her journey by a young Scottish nurse.

Hide Ad“I’m feeling ok, I’m fine. I’m just trusting God to look after me,” she said. “The people have promised to give me extra security out there, they have been very positive.”
On her return, Maud told the Mail she intends to finish nursery and other projects she had started, as well as helping to clear the names of the men wrongly accused of involvement in her attack.
“I want to get that cleared up,” she added, “they will probably have the court case while I’m out there.”
Prince William asked Maud how her shoulder was while awarding her with her MBE in May.
