Fun on the run at Titanic 10k
The new venue provided a flat course, ideal, according to organisers, for new participants walking or running the 10k event, a regular in the running calendar.
Starting at Titanic Slipways, the course took in the Samson and Goliath cranes and the recently opened Sam Thompson Bridge leading into Victoria Park in East Belfast.

Runher race director and event promoter, Michael Jenkins, from Pure Running retail outlet, was delighted with the turnout for the new venue:
“Twice a year Runher encourages women to get up and active.
“By keeping this long-running event fresh with new venues we attract regular participants along with our newcomers. It’s a great fundraiser for local charities too.
“The support is fantastic and while the spotlight is on the women it’s great to get the youngsters involved too.”
