Stephen Hackett said: “I would like there to be a funfair in the street, almost like a carnival. Wouldn’t mind a concert either.”
Another to speak to the ‘MAIL’ was Joan Cairns. She said: “There should be a street party with plenty for the children, You need something for the whole family.”
Lee Smith said: “I’d like to see a big street parade and for it to be a cross-community event.”

One person shy of the Lurgan Mail camera was Jill Magee. She said: “There should be something for the young people to stop them drinking. The council have got that park and they should do something with it.”
