Katherine walks on fire for Cedar Foundation
The fearless local woman was among 30 others who did the walk on Saturday April 26 at the Belfast Harlequins Rugby Club to raise money for the charity that delivers a range of services to support and aid children and adults with disabilities.
After a motivational training session led by Fire Master Adam Burman from BLAZE Firewalking all 30 were encouraged to walk across 20 feet of wood embers burning at 1200° Fahrenheit without experiencing any pain or injury. They watched the fire being lit which did nothing to hinder their determination.
Katherine described the event as fantastic.

“On the night I was initially nervous but once the group attended the seminar we were all excited and motivated to walk across the embers.
“I had a fantastic time and would recommend the experience to anyone.”
The Cedar Foundation delivers a range of services in Northern Ireland that enable children and adults with disabilities to be fully included in their communities.
