David Simpson MP has commended a Banbridge family who have raised money for the Children’s Heartbeat Trust following their successful coffee morning.

Judith and Aron Mckee’s youngest daughter Grace, three, was born with Pulmonary Atresia with a VSD, a heart condition which means that blood cannot get from the right ventricle of her heart into her lungs.

Mr Simpson joined the McKee family for a cheque handover to the charity at their home in Maryville

He said: “Once again I am delighted to be able to speak so highly of the efforts the McKee family have given to the work of Children’s Heartbeat Trust.

“The excellent coffee morning that was organised a few weeks ago raised an exceptional £4317 for the charity.
