A gala evening has been organised at Thiepval Barracks to raise money for the Army Benevolent Fund.

The black tie event will be held on Wednesday June 29 at 7.30pm and the band of the Irlsh Guards, who are nicknamed ‘the Micks’, will be making a special appearance on the night.

The evening is not only designed to raise funds for soldiers, veterans and families in times of hardship, but also to reward the charity’s top fundraisers with certificates of commendation.
