Hide AdKeith Pollock, who is the level crossing risk coordinator at Translink, feels that the course is beneficial for the students.
He said: “Safety is our top priority at Translink and the challenge is an important method to educate students about the importance of rail safety, as many of them may work near a railway line or will in the future.”
Translink conduct schemes such as this at colleges and with young farmers around NI, as well as attending agriculture shows, visiting landowners and carrying out training for crossing users throughout the year.
