Parents and teens to learn how to prevent NW killer
Parents are urged to become active role models for their children, to encourage positive, healthier lifestyle choices, through increased levels of physical activity, healthy-eating lifestyles and drugs, alcohol and smoking awareness.
This month marks the last day of training for a group of newly qualified Active Families trainers who will deliver the programme.

Hide AdIt will be delivered throughout the forth coming year in partnership with local organisations.
The Active Families programme is a partnership between Western Investing for Health (IFH) and Western Group Environmental Health, which encompasses the five local district councils of L'Derry, Omagh, Strabane, Limavady and Fermanagh.
Local organisations such as the Bogside & Brandywell Health Forum, Old Library Trust, Creggan Country Park and Western Trust are particiapting. More information is available at the newly created Active Families website www.activefamilies.org.uk.
